Now a taste of what we're doing.

 Many styles are represented on this project. Some more traditional, some less. Pharaoh's Daughter came in, and in a few hours had conceived and recorded an energetic version of this song which flows from part to part. Nice.

East-West Soul

This is from Jon Madof's moitzi Shabbat session to add an acoustic flavored option after he and his band Rashanim rocked out an avant western styled tune.

Artists to get to sing in Hebrew

Among the artists we'd love to record;
Regina Spektor, Susanna Hoffs, Barbara Streisand, Madonna, Gali Atari among female singers.
Matt White, Art Garfunkel, David Broza, David Bromberg, Dag Nachash from the guys.

Already in the Can.
We've been really blessed with the awesome quality of the people who've already come into the studio and made amazing music with us. So far we've recorded songs with (in mostly order of appearance) Neshama Carlebach, Noah Solomon, Grammy Winner Lorin Sklamberg of the Klezmatics, Pharaoh's Daughter, Jon Madoff, Yossi Piamenta, Alicia Svigals, Frank London (another Grammy Winning member of the Klezmatics) and Rob Schwimmer with Joshua Nelson, Adrienne Cooper with Art Baily's "orkestra popilar", Y-Love and Diwon, plus other less well known but no less fun to record artists.

Recording Old Songs to fight Cancer

We've recorded around 15 songs for the project so far, with another session for Monday. We're building a catalog of new recordings of old songs to raise money for cancer charities.

Artist's Choice
Each Artist is choosing which Cancer related charity their track is supporting. Most Artists have also filmed a brief PSA for the YouTube campaign. The video is shot in HD and could end up in a Special Edition if there was interest in that.

The project is essentially a post CD Web site where you can listen to these songs streaming for free. A song download is our gift for anyone who would like to donate $1.99 to these cancer charities. An $18 "Chai" donation results in your choice of any 12 tracks, with the proceeds being split evenly. The $60 and above donation includes all the tracks in the catalog.

We envision a "tally board" like in a telethon, to show your pledge in real time hopefully.
